My student is doing the Concerto in Eb Op. 109 by Glazounov for solo and ensemble.
He is doing NMR. According to the PML it says to cut piano interludes. Has anyone else done this solo with their students, and did you cut ALL piano interludes or how did you work the piano part to still fit the solo.
I suppose the only piano "interludes" you could cut would be the introduction from the Beginning to square 1, and the Come prima to the Tranquillo from squares 9 and 10. I wouldnt really call anything else an interlude.
I have never had a student play this at UIL, I did play it form my senior recital in college though.
