Easy Non-PML .5 / 1 for HS 4th band

Looking for an easy grade 1 / .5 for my 4th concert band. We are not taking them to UIL but instead will take them to a festival. Trying to stay away from the PML so that I dont "burn" a piece when we take them to UIL hopefully next year

4 flutes - strong
9 Clarinets - good
1 bass clarinet - good
4 altos - ok
1 tenor - ok
4 trumpets - 1 strong rest are really weak
0 horns :/
3 trombones - not very loud
2 euphoniums - not very loud
1 tuba - ok
Percussion - minimal percussion - using ringers

Cimarron Overture by Williams. Great teaching piece and fun.
Rites of Tamburo by Smith. Maybe a little too hard, but it plays to the strengths in your group, and it’s fairly repetitive.

A Song for Friends by Daehn was a great grade one no longer on the list

Here are some good .5s-1s that aren't on the list.

Midnight Suite - Balmages (Sky, Mission, and Madness) would be at the .5 level.

Joseph Compello wrote a piece called Antiquitus that's possibly a good one too.

Rocky Mountain Romp - Balmages

Pixels - Standridge - this is new, I did it with my non-varsity 1C group for our winter concert, kids really enjoyed it.

Prehistoric Suite - Paul Jennings

Battle of the Primes -Patrick Roszell

Soaring Through Ionian Skies - RW Smith

Play pieces that have been TAKEN OFF of the PML in the past ten-fifteen years.

Consider Adrenaline Engines - it's always a hit. May be a stretch piece but is definitely worth looking at.

Are there lists of what has been taken off the PML in the last 10-15 years? I know there’s a new to the PML list… thanks
