Looking for some recommendations for nice lyrical trombone solos. He played Jorgensen Romance last year, and really wants another lyrical piece. He is a hard worker and good player (area kid), so not too worried about difficulty or range.
Here are two possibllities - Pavane by Ravel arr. by Maganini and A' La Maniere De Debussey by Defaye. the Ravel is all in bass clef. The Defaye has tenor clef.
