We are attempting to establish a color guard program at our school. Are there any locally sponsored competitions anywhere around the Houston area, say within 2 hours, where we could get some experience?
I looked at TCGC and it appears that every event is full. I have never done this, so I'm struggling to get started.

Needville HS (Sugarland/Rosenberg area) host a contest that is geared more towards small schools that do not compete in TCGC. Lance Finley is the head director there.
