Why!!! Why is the field and crowd sound being piped through the house PA sound system?

Performers on the field can hear this audio, it is an issue!

This is a nightmare to listen to, UIL needs to address this ASAP

This was reported to the Executive Secretary during the 2nd band of the day, and it wasn't fixed. This caused several sound issues for many of the finalists bands.

Reporting it during the second band is too late - that would have given an advantage to all bands that performed after the first one, since they wouldn't be hampered by it and the first was.

They could and should have addressed the issue for finals, however.

I bet the person who knows the stadium sound works is not a band director.
