service song medley

I need a recommendation for a new arrangement for a medley of service songs. Something meatier than Andrew Balent's "Armed Forces on Parade," but not as tough as Bob Lowden's "Armed Forces Salute." Any advice? I have a group that can read pretty well, but we are still developing our skills.

Bob Lowden's version is depreciated as well - it's POP, for one, and there's a sixth branch of the Armed services whose theme needs to be included now.

Yes. Space Force didn't start from scratch. They took a bunch of AF people who were already doing the work, gave them new titles and uniforms. Some of them were mid to late career already and have now retired.

If they transferred over from the Air Force when Space Force was formed (SF was split off from AF)...quite possibly.

I decided it was time when one od my fraternity brothers who is older posted that his son is in that branch. It’s been around now 8 years(?), so yes it’s time.

This version is what we used last year. If you’ve ever played the Andrew Balent version, this is that plus semper pratus and the space force song.
