Grade 1 Rep That Features French Horns

Hello,

Does anyone have some good suggestions on grade 1 music to use for UIL that features french horns? I have a formidable horn section at the moment. Thank you.

Below are some options, however because you signed "Young Band Director" I would recommend for you to strongly consider choosing UIL repertoire based on what works for the full group, not simply because you want to feature the horns and give them a challenge. This is true especially if the instrumentation is not ideal or the skills of other sections are not up to standard. You can always give your horn students challenging music on your spring concert. Music For A Night Sky is on the Grade 1 list. It is a 3/4 lyrical piece and it has a few f horn/alto sax moments.
