Region Band Clinician Question

So I'm going to be a middle school region clinician for the 2nd time. I want to do a better job with programming than the first time I did it. The region band I'm the clinician for is great with prior programs including level 2-3 music in the past.

If you have been a clinician for a middle school region band, what are some suggested selections?

I want to choose pieces that kids will enjoy, learn from, and remember!

I would keep it to a grade 2.5 max. Grade 3 and above can be done but the process ends up not being as fun.

Arabian Dances by Barrett is a real fun one to do. We closed our HS concert with it this past year, and the kids and audience really enjoyed it.

Find any and all pieces that have been dropped off the UIL list in the past ten years or so. That's quality music, fun to play, and the kids enjoy it.
