iPad storage

Looking to get an ipad for work use. I plan on using it outside with the udb app, I do a lot of digital music stuff on Soundtrap and of course plan to import my scores on there as well. I will definitely use it for personal entertainment as well - a few games and some of the usual educational apps for my kids.
I don't buy electronic devices very often - I try to hold onto them and actually use them until they die. It has been years since I have actually used an ipad and have settled on the ipad air, so my question is: those of you who use yours on a daily basis, what storage did you go with and has it worked for you? I am on the fence with 128 vs 256 gb.

Would recommend - for your own protection - that you keep a device with work/professional type stuff that you will be using at school strictly that. Keep the personal stuff separate, other than stuff directly related to the job. I know it means two devices, but keep yourself safe.

A regular sub on one of our campuses got in major trouble and canned for stuff on his laptop. He had all of the school stuff on it, but his browser history also became visible on the school server (I am no tech person, so don't ask me how that happened). Some kids got access. Nothing illegal in itself, but definitely NSFW. With how readily questionable contacts and 'follows' show up unsolicited on my FB and IG feeds, I wouldn't risk it.

I hope you're getting the 13" version.

I invested in an iPad Pro a few years ago because it was becoming harder to read music on my older, smaller iPad. I got a good deal on a 3rd Generation iPad Pro with 256GB. I don't use it much for anything except for music and school. I have thousands of charts on there and there's no concern for space.

Go for the 256GB. Yeah, you could stash some stuff in the cloud, but you never know if the signals going to fuzz out.
