Looking to get an ipad for work use. I plan on using it outside with the udb app, I do a lot of digital music stuff on Soundtrap and of course plan to import my scores on there as well. I will definitely use it for personal entertainment as well - a few games and some of the usual educational apps for my kids. I don't buy electronic devices very often - I try to hold onto them and actually use them until they die. It has been years since I have actually used an ipad and have settled on the ipad air, so my question is: those of you who use yours on a daily basis, what storage did you go with and has it worked for you? I am on the fence with 128 vs 256 gb.

I hope you're getting the 13" version.
I invested in an iPad Pro a few years ago because it was becoming harder to read music on my older, smaller iPad. I got a good deal on a 3rd Generation iPad Pro with 256GB. I don't use it much for anything except for music and school. I have thousands of charts on there and there's no concern for space.

Go for the 256GB. Yeah, you could stash some stuff in the cloud, but you never know if the signals going to fuzz out.
