I am an assistant band director, I primarily teach the NV band. On Texas Music Forms, I am listed as an additional director on the varsity band and the marching band. All of those groups have consistent division 1 ratings for several years with my name attached. Do any of those count for a TMAA purposes? Or does it have to be the lead director of the varsity group to count?

Directors of public school music groups (grades 7-12)
b. Assistant directors, who are using ratings for an ensemble for which they were not the primary conductor, must submit a letter of recommendation from the lead or primary conductor of the ensemble. This letter should detail the responsibilities of the assistant director related to the ensemble preparation for the UIL evaluation or contest.
