Water at football games

My band is growing and I am looking for how bigger bands handle having water for students at football games. We having been doing coolers with water bottles.

We provide freshmen with a water jug in a carrier (from TMF). Returning members are expected to bring theirs back or buy one from us. Kids are expected to have this at every outdoor band event from band camp through the entire season. We do typically bring enough iced-down disposable water bottles for every kid to have one after halftime, but that's it.

We switched to the one gallon jugs last year. To me this or even the half gallon jug is the way to go. They leave the band hall with it filled up for either away or home games. We don't have to worry about filling them up again because drinking an entire gallon of water in the stands is probably not going to happen. We did this for contests, too. They had enough water to drink after the competition and for supper if we had to eat.
