Seriously, how hard is it to make the parts line up with the score????? In addition to that, how hard is it to fix once noticed by an early contest? Why was the percussion part, that was evidently known before last week, not corrected for Region 10??????

It seems that once a piece is written it is produced by a publisher...RBC, being a great music company should be able to detect these issues. For something as important as Sightreading is you would think extra care would be taken. Things happen even with professional level works. Errata happens. I cannot imagine how much of a nightmare this must have been 20-30 years ago when the pieces were much longer and WAY too hard. There is no way errors were not made. At least we have the instant connection to each other to fix things.
With that being said, the level 4 was a pretty good piece this year I think.

Almost like there should be a large group of Band Directors who gather and play all the grade levels prior to them being printed...
