Fundraising

I know they have to make their money, but taking 50-60% on an item that people can purchase cheaper at their local grocery store or 20-25% of donations while making the donor pay the transaction fee seems a bit steep.

I know some bands and other groups are explaining that instead of asking their patrons to buy junk, they are just asking for donations. Smart idea.

Once Blue and Gold went away (yes, I'm old) and World's Finest Chocolate got ridiculously expensive, I would rather just donate.

Before WFC got expensive, the bars were reduced in size by 60%.

Every single fundraiser company I've ever seen has had similar rates.

That's why I don't do catalog sales.

Calendar-Raise.com. It’s a digital version of the “donate the day” calendar fundraiser. 80/20 split and the company pays the CC fees so the group gets the 80%.

We actually originally developed the digital pick a date calendar fundraiser.
85/15 split and developed by a band director.
