What spray paint would you recommend for some old Manhasset and Hamilton music stands?

At Home Depot, you can find a black spray that has some texture almost like the original. I used it several years. It covers all the @#$@# that got written about me over the years (heh heh).
And it doesn't take a lot of coats.
Sadly, I can't remember the exact name of it, but you should be able to find it.

Never painted a music stand, but Rust-oleum “Stops Rust” or “Ultimate” adheres to metal very well and has a rust neutralizer and preventer. Find it at any home improvement store, probably even Walmart.
