If you use a stock chart for a marching band show, must you play all of it? I can't remember if it breaks copyright to only play a part of it.
I wanted to use an original show and add "Kings and Queens" by Ava Max and the Game of Thrones theme at the end.

I am not a lawyer. This is not legal advice.
You're not violating copyright by only playing a portion of a work. If you were, every time a band or soloist chooses to play a "Play one of three" multi-movement work at UIL they'd be violating copyright.
You WOULD be violating if you substantially changed the original piece - rewrote the drumline parts, for example. But if you just stopped after say Measure 48, you're not violating anything.
That being said, you DO need permission to perform the Game of Thrones theme as well as Kings and Queens. If you're using stock arrangements, those generally come with permission to perform, but you might want to make sure.
