Marking chair spots on carpet

I need to mark where chairs go. I've been using painters tape but it doesn't last more than a week.

What are you using? ...on carpet.

I used painters tape on tile floor, marking each leg, and it worked really well because at the end of class, or when changing to another activity, I would remind students to adjist their chairs. It was great that I didn't have to do it after every class. I recommend finding a tape, or velcro like another post mentioned as opposed to spots, so each student can see exactly where each chair leg goes.

We use a velcro strip that is 6-8 inches in length. Students center the strip between the back legs of the chair.

Works great and gives a consistent setup for every class with the students setting it up.

The Carpet dots Doot posted are great, you can get them off of Amazon too. You'll probably need some pliers to get them off the floor at the end of the year.

Maybe it's my percussion hand strength but I have no problem pulling them off the carpet.

Maybe its my carpet, but I have to dig out the edge just to try to get a grip on them.
