When I was in HS, 08-11, the University of Texas Longhorn Marching Band used to host high school band students at home games and I believe it was called the Sideline Crew or something similar. I was fortunate to be selected for a game my senior year.
Is this program still a thing or has it been phased out? It’s hard to find any information on it. I enjoyed my experience and would love to submit an application for some of my current students.
I know they do a high school band day in the Spring during the Orange and White game. I haven't heard my kiddo talk about high school kids being there during the regular season games.
