Why is there bro time to refresh and rest for the afternoon bands? Theoretically, couldn’t the last band be the 1st band at finals? They would have really no recovery time.

Theoretically, yes. But the finals draw was already established before the contest. So a band like College Station at the end of prelims was not early in the finals order.

Thanks. The original schedule I saw said finals started at 5:45!
