Area Marching

We advanced to Area for the first time - yay us!

I’m new. I looked through the contest packet and have read through all the emails. I find all the information scattered and I’m unclear on what forms I need to turn in.

I’ve turned in the Official Entry Form and Script. What am I missing? Do I need to turn in Form 1?

I asked but was told to check the contest packet…

Normally your Region Band Chair does enter you but I would check with your Area Marching Chair and your UIL Secretary to be sure.

If you read the Area Entry Form it asks that your principal certifies that all students are eligible. At least in Area E (South) we don't have to turn in an additional Form 1.

(Always been a bit of a headscratcher for me, but I just smile and nod and move on. We don't have to turn Form 1s in for State Solo and Ens either.)
