Our band is performing Brave Spirit at contest this week. I am having trouble figuring out the synth we have borrowed. The score is calling for GM 107 Mandolin. It isn't on the actual synth. My question is how do I get that sound on my synth? I have a Yamaha MX88. I have an IPad and and a Laptop available to use. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You need to navigate to the General Midi settings labeled GM in the libraries. That should be there... but I just looked at the manual and don't see a quick button to the GM settings. Try under the guitar button. I would guess there will be a mandolin somewhere in there.
