Entry level 3s

What are some of the easier grade 3s for someone who wants to start looking at that level? In addition, what skills/prerequisites do you believe are required to play a 3?

Abracadabra is one of my favorite raiser grade 3’s. You need solid CL’s that make a great tone, but really that’s the case for any song. Tone tone tone is the key to a great sounding group and are key to some of the more exposed pieces on the 3 list.

Four Short Festive Dances - Eveland
Little Suite for Band - Standridge
Sketches of Canada - Story
Of Emerald Shires - Myers (The easiest one on the list...clarinets do not go above the break and the highest note in the trumpets is 3rd space C)

I don't think the skills and prerequisites are that much different. Make good, in tune sounds with good style and musicality. The pieces I've listed do not require any huge jump in technical ability from the more difficult grade 2's.
