Is it possible to rewatch the NFHS stream of the state marching contests? I’ve paid for the monthly subscription, but the UI of the site/app is abysmal at best, and I cannot find any marching on there at all.
Did they take down the stream permanently? (I get potential copyright issues, but taking away the ability to purchase a copy of the performances would be insane.)
It comes down to rights. Streaming rights are fairly straightforward. Basically it’s like purchasing a ticket to watch and The streamer is charged per head that watches it.
To capture that content and use it for resale, that is a can or worms that is almost impossible. The streamer would then have to get distribution rights thus owing all the artists, record companies etc, royalties. It simply isn’t cost effective or possible to do that with the amount of groups and music involved.
