Serious question, can bands do both military and open class?

Since military state is a thing, I was wondering if anyone knew whether it's possible to do both? I'm sure some communities around Texas wouldn't mind seeing their bands perform a more traditional style program. I'm thinking there are programs that could handle the double. Best wishes.

the declaration of military or open class eliminates that option. Much like the track declaration in All-State Auditions.

not as far as area and state competitions are concerned

No, they have to declare their track (military or open) when they enter for Region UIL.
