Fantastic teacher, an amazing story, and one of the truly unique characters, and a great friend.

I remember him talking about the words he was using to gauge his recovery from his bout with Bell's palsy...

Dan taught me not only how to be a band director, but how to become a successful director.

He was always willing to share his knowledge and advice.

I could never thank him enough.

I will miss him.
