We participated in the Fiesta Flambeau parade this past year. What an INCREDIBLE experience!! What are other parades that are really great in Texas? Is there anything better than the Flambeau parade? Thanks in advance!
Texas isn’t really parade country. There might be a Mardi Gras parade somewhere that could be fun, and I know several cities do MLK and Veterans Day parades. Dallas has a well known St. Patricks parade. Grapevine has its Festival of Lights Christmas parade, and tons of cities also do holiday parades.
But if you want big time parades, look at California. Even discounting the bowl game (Roses) and holiday shopping parades, parade bands are Serious Business(TM) in Cali. As in they have contests and evaluations on it.
