Band In The Square (On the 4th of July)-La Plante

Hello,

I'm looking at pieces to play for my march for UIL next year with my MS Band. Is "Band in the Square" (On the 4th of July) by La Plante considered a March, or would it be one of my two other pieces? Thank you in advance.

Ask your region exec secretary. I've seen it performed as a march before, but that doesn't mean it'll work with YOUR region.

We’ve done it that way before. It is a march and can be played as one.
