SHARE! HIGH SCHOOL EXCHANGE STUDENT PROGRAM NEEDS HOST FAMILIES FOR INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE STUDENTS for the 2022-23 School year. We still have students who want to come to the USA to experience American Culture in August. If you have room in your HEART and HOME, please consider hosting one of these great kids. Students are 15 - 18 year old boys and girls from Brazil to Germany to Japan. They will attend local high school in your school district. You give the student a bed and a place at the table. The kids speak English and come with money for personal expenses. As well as medical insurance. Become a host family.... SHARE! High School Exchange Program is now looking for families to open their heart and home to an international high school exchange student for the 2022-2023 school year. Families volunteer to provide bed, meals, and welcome them as part of your family. You are able to pick the student that best fits your family. Must pass criminal background check
Having many exchange students in our bands was a great experience. We had a harp player and flute player from Germany and a sax player and mallet player from Japan. Honey Grove ISD was very supportive of foreign exchange students and encouraged most of them to be in band. Even the students without band experience enjoyed band. We hosted 3 in our home and enjoyed the multicultural experience.
