Solo & Ens. Work Horse Suggestions Needed

I have a dream where, after Region Band Auditions, I assign every student to an ensemble, and eventually take everyone to Solo & Ensemble Contest as if it were a band contest. The problem is, I know very little repertoire in this area. |
This is my first year at the District, and very few of my students have ever participated. My goal is for them to be successful this year, then we'll try to start pushing them next year.
I'm looking for your recommendations of the most playable Class I ensemble pieces on the PML. Think Largo and Finale from New World Symphony for brass quintet, or the Bartok for Brass sextet. Whatever those would be for flute trio/choir, clarinet quartet/quintet/choir, sax quartet, trumpet trio/choir, horn trio, trombone trio/quartet, tuba/euph quartet, percussion ensemble, or anything else you would recommend. We have an oboe and a bassoonist I'd like to fit into one of these as well if possible.
I'm also interested in a Class II for the NV Band students. I once bumped into a Class II that was arranged for solo or ensemble for every instrument combination you could hope for, all in the same key. I remember thinking that would be perfect for teaching an ensemble to your entire band and then splitting them out once the parts are learned. I can't remember the name of it. If any of you know what I'm talking about, please help because I can't find it.
Thank you guys for your help! I think this could be an AMAZING experience for these students.
