I also 100% agree that good music is good and should stay regardless of what the publisher does. For example, the sax quartet of Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody No. 5 getting dropped a number of years ago. Still one of the best all time sax quartets.
By the way, I used to have my best sax quartets play something else at region then the Liszt for TSSEC because there was a rule that for TSSEC you could play anything that had ever been on the list. When they went to the online/computer entry system they dropped that because the system couldn't handle 'write ins'. First it got dropped when it went POP, then the last chance to play it for UIL went away to accommodate the computer program.
