Looking for a Drill Writer

We are a small band, about 30 winds plus color guard, percussion and DM.

Can anyone recommend a drill writer who is affordable, creative, but mostly reliable, prompt, and responsive?

I can vouch for Chris Cantrell, Jonathan Sweet and Fred Meyer at Gulf Coast. I think they do outstanding work and definitely meet the client's needs and expectations. They are also very creative. Put it this way - I learn from them. Talk to them, as they will all do great work!

I recommend Chris Cantrell of Cantrell Marching. I've marched his shows as a college student and taught his shows as a teacher AND watched his shows at the state marching contest. He is creative and dedicate and will make the show fit your group.

Fred Meyer - Gulf Coast Drill Designs. He has been writing drill for small schools for many years. Always great quality and always on time.

Rodney Gurley was great to me and my program when I was Eden. I highly recommend him!

I would recommend Jimmie Exline (jexlinedrill@yahoo.com). Great communication, very prompt, flexible, great for small schools.

...I am in a similar situation, and this fall I used Rustin Honeycutt. I really like what he did for us, and I plan on asking him to do our drill again this year.

I'd recommend Tim Hiskey of Brynnpark Productions. He posts on here a lot and also has a website. Great guy, awesome work!!
