Custom marches

Many bands this year are experiencing difficulties with selecting the appropriate march for contest. JLC Music Publications offers custom marches written specifically for your band using your exact instrumentation and strengths/weaknesses of sections. I called Jerry and asked him if he had a march to fit our top band. We talked about my instrumentation and he said he’d write a march for us. We decided on a paso doble.

The phone call was on Thursday evening. He sent me a score and a midi recording Sunday night. It’s really good and the kids like it. They are excited to be the band that gets to premiere his work.

Jerry’s price is super-reasonable and he’s really easy to work with. Definitely recommend!

Jerry is a great person to work with! I told him where the strengths of my ensemble were and which areas to avoid, and he customized a march specifically for my band! I even told him that I’m a sucker for a good Spanish style march, and he checked that box too. All of this for less than what you pay for some current pieces out there!

My kids have had to roll with so many punches this year, and seeing their band’s name at the top of the work was the cherry on top of getting their own custom march. Thank you, Jerry!

Check this guy out!
We got a custom March from Jerry for our sub non-varsity junior high band and the kids love it!
It’s special to them to have something custom written to make them feel like rock stars.
He is super easy to work with, makes edits quick if something isn’t working and at a price that EVERY SINGLE SCHOOL can afford.

The bonus is, he is featuring my stronger sections but still makes those sections that struggle very successful with what he writes.
