Beginning Band Festivals in Region 1 and 16

Does anyone know of any festivals happening in Region 1 or Region 16?

The Clyde beginning band festival is April 22nd and 23rd. I would be happy to send you more information.

Abernathy usually hosts one March/April time frame. It is well run, and they are super nice hosts!

Check with Matt Knight at Abernathy High School. He has an awesome festival. I don't know if it's happening this year with everything going on. Greater SW is good. Those are my go to beginner festivals in West Texas.

Hi. If there a no in person festivals in Region1 or 16, please keep our virtual festival in mind. We have experienced adjudicators, encouraging written comments, and you get to choose if the performance is by recorded video or live zoom. The price is reasonable too.

Abernathy has one. I do not know if they are doing it this year because of Covid-19.

As far as I’ve heard Greater Southwest will still be in Amarillo!
