Non Varsity Band

Hello all,

I am looking for a middle tune for our 7th grade band. We read Laredo march and Dance Celebration. They both fit the group really well. My WWs are pretty strong, Horns/Trumpets are strong, percussion is strong,Low brass is a tad week.

Ghost Ship may be a good one. Clarinets get exposed by themselves for a little bit.

Without knowing what you did last year, it's difficult to suggest.

That being said, there are tons of great Grade 1 pieces that have been suggested over the past couple weeks that might fit your ensemble. Maybe try Serengeti Dreams, if you have strong flutes, clarinets, saxes, and percussion? Trumpet parts aren't huge in that one, but it's a fun piece.
