Tell us some interesting messages (concerning pride, being on time, practicing, being a good friend to others etc,etc,etc,) you've seen posted in band halls or that you've made up yourself in your years of teaching. You might even use some from coaches (GO! FIGHT! WHEN?)

I once used the large calendar we got from a music store to put quotes of the kids. Got some great ones.

Me: How's it goin?
Kid: Slowly faster

Kid: Is it in October that we go back to metric time?

Kid: Is this weekend Lieber Day ?

Kid: If we were in track, we could outrun our noses.

Kid, after eating hot chips: The only thing hot about me is my lips

Okay.... But by the law of transitive properties...

If early is "A"

and on time is "B"

and late is "C"

Then A=B, B=C, therefore A=C

Therefore, if you're early you're late.
