Judge comment

Need some help defining the term "vocabulary" on a judge's sheet. I think it means variation in set designs. Am I close? Thanks.

Vocabulary is the range and variety of skills shown. Think of it like language. Is your vocabulary 50 words? 100? 1500?

As to marching band - things like do you stay at a two-step interval throughout, or vary it? Stride length? How do you move from curves to block forms and back - is it the same each time? Etc.
