What do y’all do with your kids on the first day back after a break? Go over rules procedures? Slowly regain their chops by doing more warm ups than playing music?

Play everything till their lips bleed. Well, not really THAT long. To me it's not a rehearsal, it's just using those muscles that I know haven't been used in 9 days.
