Good morning! I just wanted to take an opportunity to thank all of you for your continued support of the board. I also wanted to ask for your patience as I read and consider each of your posts before approving. I know that itís frustrating to post and then have to wait to read your post, and thatís on me. At this time I am the only person approving posts and though Iím retired and have a bit more time on my hands, sometimes I get busy on a project or driving somewhere and I just get behind on the job. I anticipate continuing approving posts while we are enduring the pandemic. |
As a reminder:In addition to the usual reasons I have always prohibited certain types of posts, I will not approve posts that seem to be written by those not directly connected to the music teaching profession, attack the poster, minimize the impact or veracity of the pandemic, or are overtly political.
To my retired colleagues: You and I have never been through anything like what teachers are enduring now. This is a good time to listen, support, encourage, understand, mentor, and help however we can when asked. Saturday I posted a snarky post I now wish I hadnít about, of all things, alternate sax fingerings. This is a good example of how Iím not using my experience to be helpful, but rather, just a smart alek. I apologize to the OP. Iíll try to do better.
Everyone have a good day! This is a good day to be outside isnít it?
