Hey folks... |
We're a small school and one of my guard (7) tested positive Wednesday. The other 6 and our guard instructor are now quarrantined for 14 days. Also one of her friends (clarinet) is quarrantined for 14 days.
We travel this week and next (Friday and next Friday).
I'm concerned about traveling to these two games, and even more so this week's game.
My band will have 43 including adults/bus drivers and no guard. I plan to talk with my principal this afternoon about why NOT to attend this week's game. Other than the obvious reason that we may spread this thing more on a bus, dinner, game, bus again on the way home -- what more is there to argue?
I want to make the call to stay home, but if this thing spreads further and we come back next week to having a few more, suddenly my little band is devastated and we most likely be doing this UIL thing in Nov.
Ideas, thoughts? Someone tell me what more I'm missing.
