There's a little mom & pop Mexican place on Roosevelt named Las Palmas. Not flashy Tex-Mex, this is the real deal, and it's the best, most authentic I've found. A couple can walk out completely full for under $15. We got it on a tip from several Park Rangers at the nearby mission... one of those "where would YOU go for really great food" and this place came up 8 of 10 times. |
Pinch Boil House... itís a great Korean/Southwest fusion place
Hi all! Iím all about finding new things @ TMEA, so whatíre your favorite new or off-the-beaten-path places for food and fun? Hereís a couple new to me this year:
Thai Lao Orchid - great pho and pad Thai in a little hole in the wall style restaurant.
Maverick Whiskey - restaurant, brewery, distillery, and tasting room. Try the charcuterie board - smoked duck FTW. Also, a very nice clear whiskey and PHENOMENAL house brews.
