I use for an alternate uniform a polo and slacks. You could even do polo and jeans. I go through the people our AD uses for the polo. If you have to, suck it up and use budget $ for the polos. Or, find sponsors around town that may pay for them. If you are forced to go and the district won't buy the uniforms, I would go this route. Like said in other responses, if you make it work then they will expect that in the future. |
My district administration wants me to attend UIL marching, without marching uniforms. I teach at a low SES school, and having a booster club raising funds is currently out of the question. does anybody have old unifroms that are either red, black, grey or white? that they could donate to a school that really needs them. We do not have budget money for uniforms currently, or a Vendor for the distict.
