I have ridden the VIA bus and streetcars all over downtown, up and down Broadway, and out to SeaWorld and UTSA many times. The buses are clean, safe, and the drivers are generally |
happy to assist with your route planning-and thereís generally plenty of room on the bus for you and stroller. You can download the VIA app, or ask someone at your hotel front desk for info. Speaking of your hotel...sometimes you can get a hoteler ith a shuttle to take you and baby in the hotel van for no fee (maybe a small tip). Worth a call to ask. I would avoid uber or lyft. Few carry car seats and generally arenít comfortable with a child not legally restrained.
Hello! We are planning to take our baby with us to TMEA this year. He is our first child, so this is all new to us. Our hotel is too far away from the convention center for walking to and from and be an option. For those of you who have been in this situation, what would be the best way to get to and from the convention center? If I park at the Alamodome, would we be allowed on the bus with a baby in a carrier and a stroller? That seems like it would take up an awful lot of space. Is there anything else of which I should be aware when attending with a baby? I'm not really planning to attend any concerts or sessions, unless my husband can take care of little one while I do so. I'm mainly planning on exhibits and meeting my husband for lunch each day, so being able to go to and from our hotel easily is my main concern. Thank you in advance.
