This is what the PML Says - (play three mvts) (3 b-flat cl, Eb alto cl, bass cl, Eb contrabass cl)(Printed score instrumentation must be followed)
However, the 1st and 2nd clarinet parts are divided at times. IT does look like these parts "thicken up" the texture and the pitches are covered elsewhere, but since the PML is contradicting itself, which do I go with?
Follow the instructions on the PML. 3 Bb clars, leave out the "extra" notes.
