We have Manhasset stands that are 10-15 years old or older and they are great, we paint them every few years , they still look and do their job well, |
BUT last year we bought 60 new stands, they have replaced parts that were metal in the old stands with plastic parts- plastic parts that snap off, we now have 12 broken stands and counting that have cracked and snapped off where the top connects to the base, Manhasset has said they were not assembled correctly, they are making their warranty hard to make a claim, I feel that if I wanted plastic disposable stands I would have purchased Wenger.
I would have rather paid the 50 cents this saved them to have functional stands.
Oh yea! tell kids to stop spinning stands, we have to remind them that they are music stands-not people stands or toys.
how do yall fix Manhasset music stands where the bolt on the bottom always loosens itself and the stand then wobbles to and fro?
we've tightened them like crazy, used red lock-tite and still no lasting results
