This has happened to me before. I took it as a growing opportunity for myself and the program. I went in front of my band and spoke honestly with them, took the responsibility and the kids for the most part took it well. I lost a few, but a majority of the band stayed for the next year. We got received a Sweepstakes the following season. |
We are human. I think teaching our kids that it's okay to make mistakes and to grow from them is one of the most important lessons to learn.
So, it looks like this year we took on more than we could chew. Over the past years we've had quite a bit of success. What do you do when you fall short? What do you say, how do you react?
