Bluetooth Capacity at the Tower

Do any of you use anything so you can control the Metronome on the tower. And I know some of you will say students, but I need all my students on the field marching, and I like my Drum Majors working with the students.

Do you have some kind of Bluetooth extender that works from the tower to the hash's, or what do you use.

I use body beat metronomes. They pair with each other, so one is stuck to the speaker and the other is in my hand. They work great and will fit in your pocket!

I use my phone and tonal energy connected to a long ranger pack. works like a charm until the batteries start getting low-sounds like aliens attacking. And as always, be aware of the volume for those closest to the speaker in back. Ouch!

their new system is what we have. It does have the option to connect via bluetooth but won't reach the tower. It came with 4 battery/mic packs and the new plugs they use are just aux chords. So you can actually hook your dr. beat or phone up to one of the packs and use that.

I believe that there is no bluetooth that stretches far enough to reach your tower from back field. Could be wrong but that's what I found when I was researching.

Being in control of the met during rehearsal is very nice. took a while for me to get used to it but I love it now.

We us a Digimet, with a "RF" remote. Rechargeable batteries and a remote that can control the met from four blocks away.

Which brand of "RF" remote controller do you use? I've looked on Amazon and see that there are several to choose from. We also have a Digimet and I'm tired of having an alternate stand back by it to control the thing.
