Band pieces with Bassoon

I have an amazing bassoon player in my middle school band. Are there any pieces out there that have great bassoon parts? grade 3 and 4?

I second Alligator Alley. It’s best if you have two stellar bassoonists, but the first part is the more strenuous part so you can do well with one super star and one at grade level.

Lots of syncopation in the most taxing register of the bassoon. Technically it is not a difficult line, just takes good endurance and projection

You can also have the bassoon play the bass line on a strain of a march and eliminate all of the other instruments. Have the other instruments come in on the repeat of the strain.
