Moral of the story is there needs to be more protections for exempt teachers and more limits on what head directors can ask of their assistants. A principal cannot even modify contract times once a contract has been signed. How, then, can a head director ask their assistant to stay for essentially an unlimited number of days and/or hours outside of their contract time. This "other duties as assigned" nonsense has to end.
