Through a series of bad decisions on my part, I ended up having to cut my closer and end with a ballad at UIL (we ended up using a soft ending with a soloist, which sorta fit the theme of the show). The judges actually went with us as the kids played and marched well. Got killed at area though.

If your kids march and play well and do their best out there, you can do well. I personally would not park and play the entire closer. Try to clean as much as you can, then make the final decision.
