I have a unique situation in my beginner group this year. I will not label the disorder my student has but it affects the center vision of their eyes and can truly only see peripherally.
The VI teacher asked me if it may be possible to order the method book from the publisher in an enlarged version. I do not know who to ask at Alfred Music but figured I could start here or even see if it is possible.
I am also working with some folks at Make Music to see if they have a solution on enlarging within their program for the method books.
Another thing I was considered was using Pia Score with the foot petals to turn pages. For this student it would be moving to the next set of measures since they can only see 4-6 measures at a time.
ANY help is appreciated. This student is super sweet and patient, I want to make sure they have the tools to be as successful as their peers.
