Has anyone started a new program before and can tell me what to expect? I am in a new program and feel like my admins don’t know what to expect. I started a program over before, but they had equipment. We are needing to order everything. Down the line, they are expecting a marching band, which is fine, but the idea of running a successful program with marching by myself freaks me out and is too much for one person. Do they typically hire assistants for 2A schools? I am new to Texas and where I was, you ran the whole show by yourself, there was absolutely no other staff, you were it. The idea of doing this whole program, at a decent level of success, possibly by myself freaks me out. I just feel very stressed. Also can I get a mentor since I am new to the state?
